Cepco Tool BoWrench BW-2 Decking Tool

A deceptively simple-looking tool, the BoWrench is a boon for both professional deck builders and do-it-yourselfers. The BoWench gives you a fast, one-person way to straighten decking boards. This is great, because decking material--whether redwood, cedar, or another, more exotic rot-resistant wood--is often warped, especially in 14- to 16-foot lengths. To operate the BoWrench, you simply fit the tool on a joist, swing the lever arm, and release. You can either push or pull boards into alignment, and when the handle is perpendicular, the tool locks in place, holding the board securely and leaving you free to drive nails or screws. The BoWrench is better than toenailing. Burying nails in the sides of decking to close gaps works, but it gives water more ways to enter the decking, which eventually leads to rot. With the BoWrench, you'll save time, create a longer-lasting surface, and maximize material. life with the bo wrench

the bo wrench is a must when installing deck boards i couldn't think of not having it in my tool kit the only floor with this product is the cotter pins have a habbit of coming out but that was a easy fix ,if you are installing deck boards this tool is a great invention for laying boards easy and straight my advice is don't cut corners with tools always buy the right tool for the right job it makes life so easy cepco have a winner

A must-have for decking

I'm not sure how I would have built my deck properly without this thing. I used fasteners under the boards instead of screws through them and it would have been impossible to keep the boards straight without using this tool or something similar. The price is pretty steep for something you'll probably only use for one project but it's worth it if you're going to use fasteners.

Useful Decking Tool

Often I have to install decking single handed. Too many times pressure treated lumber is not straight and needs to be adjusted.
With this tool I can straighten the boards to fit properly single handed. The only shortcoming I noted is the cotter pins keep falling out and the pressure bars fall off...usually when I'm 15 feet off the ground!
Otherwise it is easy to use and effeftive...it performs as advertised.

Black & Decker Hedgehog

Works exelent, very powerful tool, works great on large branches as well as small.

Disappointing Experience

I am a past owner of a Black and Decker 22" electric trimmer and decided to upgrade to a newer one that was a little longer and had a little more power. Unfortunately my first and ONLY experience with the new 24" was extremely diasppointing and I ultimately had to finish trimming my 30 ft. honeysuckle hedge with my old trimmer. The new trimmer continually jammed! According to the package it states that it can cut braches up to 3/4 inches - this was false in my case. I had the trimmer jamming every 2 minutes on branches that were no larger then 1/2". The main reason I believe the trimmer was jamming is due to the blade design. When I compare it to my old trimmer there are a log more little crevices for twigs and branches to get lodged in thus causing the trimmer to jam.

great trimmer, good balance, great price

This makes simple work of any hedge. The balance is good, so it's easy on the shoulders, elbows and wrists. The balanced handle is padded so you can handle it with no stress points. You can hold the trigger down or engage a lock to keep it trimming, his is very good on stopping on fatigue. Very little vibration. Trims through branches that usually require lopping-shears. The longer reach also prevents you from trying to over extend.

Well designed, worth every penny.

Best level

The best part about this product is the magnets. When you put it on something it stays. It is also light wieght.

Best level I've ever owned

I've been an electrician for 15 years and I have owned every level there is to own. I have bent thousands of feet of pipe and I have had the same problem with every level I have owned.Bump the pipe and there goes the level.Hopefully your just on a ladder and not a lift 30' feet in the air or your stopping at Sears on the way home from work to replace it.The only issue I have with this level is getting it off the pipe.The 4 magnets are unbelievably strong.I recomend it to every electrician out there.
